Campuses:
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before enrolling with KT Education or using our website.
These terms and conditions govern all enrolments with KT Education Centres and apply to all students and their parents/guardians.
1. Services Provided
KT Education offers tutoring services across a range of subjects from Foundation Kinder to Year 12, as well as specialist programs including UCAT, MMI interview preparation, Selective School Exam, Scholarship Exam, and NAPLAN preparation.
All class sessions follow a structured program written and developed by KT Education. These programs are the intellectual property of KT Education Australia P/L (ACN 605 671 690) and are protected by copyright. Programs are provided exclusively for the use of currently enrolled KT Education students and must not be shared, reproduced, distributed, or used for any other purpose without prior written permission from KT Education.
Homework is set each session for students to complete and submit for correction.
2. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of a completed enrolment form and, where applicable, payment of the enrolment fee. KT Education reserves the right to decline any enrolment application.
Students may be required to complete a diagnostic assessment prior to enrolment to determine the most suitable class level and program.
3. Fees & Payment
3.1 Fees are charged per term. Alternative payment arrangements will only be considered under special circumstances discussed with KT Education in advance and confirmed in writing. Fee schedules are reviewed periodically and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
3.2 Invoices for group classes are issued after the second week of term. Invoices for private tuition are issued immediately upon booking.
3.3 Payment is due by the date specified on the invoice. Payment is to be made via bank transfer to the account details provided on the invoice.
3.4 A late payment fee may apply to accounts not settled within 14 days of the due date.
3.5 Fees are non-refundable except as set out in Section 4 (Refunds) or as required by Australian Consumer Law.
3.6 KT Education reserves the right to withhold access to classes or materials where fees remain outstanding.
4. Refunds
4.1 Refunds will not be provided for missed classes due to student absence, unless a makeup class has been arranged and the student was unable to attend that makeup class.
4.2 If KT Education cancels a class and is unable to offer a suitable makeup session, a pro-rata fee credit or refund will be issued.
4.3 Where a student withdraws from a program mid-term, fees already paid for completed sessions are non-refundable. Fees paid in advance for remaining sessions may be refunded at KT Education's discretion, less any applicable administration fee.
4.4 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@kteducation.vic.edu.au. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
4.5 This policy does not limit any rights the student or parent/guardian may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Class Placement & Changes
5.1 KT Education reserves the right to place students in the most appropriate class level based on diagnostic assessment results and tutor recommendations.
5.2 Students may be moved to a different class level if their performance indicates a more suitable placement. Parents/guardians will be notified prior to any such change.
5.3 Class timetables, tutors, venues, and delivery modes (in-person or online) may be subject to change. KT Education will provide reasonable notice of any such changes.
6. Cancellations & Makeup Classes
6.1 Group Classes (Standard Timetabled Sessions)
Fees are charged regardless of student attendance. Makeup classes may be offered at KT Education's discretion and are subject to availability. Makeup classes are not guaranteed and will not be provided as a matter of course.
6.2 Private Tuition (1:1)
For private one-on-one tuition sessions, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be considered a late cancellation and the full session fee will be charged.
6.3 Semi-Private Tuition (1:2, 1:3, 1:4)
Where tuition is delivered to a small group of students (1:2, 1:3, or 1:4), the session fee applies to all enrolled students regardless of individual attendance. If one or more students cancel but the session proceeds for the remaining student(s), all students in the group will be charged for that session. A minimum of 48 hours' notice is still required for any cancellation request; however, a fee reduction or makeup class will only be considered at KT Education's sole discretion where the entire group cancels with sufficient notice.
6.4 General
KT Education reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to tutor illness, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a makeup class or fee credit will be provided.
7. Student Conduct
7.1 Students are expected to attend classes punctually, behave respectfully toward tutors and fellow students, and complete homework set each session.
7.2 KT Education reserves the right to terminate enrolment without refund if a student's behaviour is deemed disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful to staff, other students, or property.
7.3 Any bullying, harassment, or discrimination — whether in-person or online — will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of enrolment.
8. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
8.1 Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring students attend classes on time and are collected promptly at the end of each session.
8.2 Parents and guardians must notify KT Education of any relevant medical conditions, learning needs, or changes in contact details at the time of enrolment and promptly thereafter.
8.3 KT Education does not provide supervision outside of scheduled class times. Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety of their children before and after sessions.

13.2 Materials must not be reproduced, shared, sold, or distributed in any form without the prior written consent of KT Education.
13.3 Unauthorised use or distribution of KT Education materials may result in immediate termination of enrolment and may constitute a breach of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
14. Termination of Enrolment
14.1 Parents/guardians may withdraw a student from KT Education by providing written notice to info@kteducation.vic.edu.au. Notice should be provided before the commencement of a new term where possible.

14.3 Where enrolment is terminated by KT Education for reasons other than student misconduct or fee default, a pro-rata refund for unused prepaid sessions will be provided.
15. Liability

18.2 The referral credit will be applied to the referring family's account upon confirmation of the new student's enrolment and payment of their first invoice.
18.3 The referral program is subject to change or withdrawal at any time at KT Education's discretion.
